Welcome
German Missions in Nigeria
Welcome to the Website of the German Embassy Abuja and the Consulate General Lagos!
The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has announced new public health measures for international travellers in response to the ongoing Ebola outbreak affecting parts of the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Uganda. With immediate effect, all passengers arriving in Nigeria on international flights must complete a health declaration.
Travellers are requested to submit the form online before arrival via https://healthapp.ncdc.gov.ng. Passengers unable to complete the declaration before departure will be required to fill out a paper form upon arrival and submit it to the relevant health authorities.
The measure forms part of enhanced precautionary efforts by Nigerian authorities to prevent the potential importation and spread of the Ebola virus within the country.
All foreigners travelling into the country have to apply online for landing and exit cards before travelling: https://lecard.immigration.gov.ng/

Germany and Nigeria enjoy more than 60 years of diplomatic relations. Nigeria is an important political, economic and cultural partner of Germany in Africa and I am looking forward to strengthening and deepening these relations.
