The Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Lagos is offering employment as Plumber/ Technician.

The position is to be filled from October 1st 2026. The first 6 months are considered trial period. Working hours will be 40 hours / week.

Main Tasks:

• Plumber with experience of repairing/replacing of all types of water outlets and warm water heaters
• Experience in repairing of all types of pvc and galvanised piping, able to maintain house pressure systems
• Understanding of the electric components of pump installations
• Good English proficiency and ready to pefrom any other technical work required by the maintenance team
• Able and willing to work during weekends in case of emergencies
• If necessary, deployment in other areas of administration

Requirement profile:

• At least secondary school diploma.
• Work experience of at least five years in the technical field of plumbing
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Knowledge of Nigerian indigenous languages (Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa) is desirable
• Ability to work in a team and to act in a customer-oriented manner
• Nigerian citizenship or residence status in Nigeria, which allows this employment

A competent training on the job is guaranteed. The employment relationship is subject to Nigerian law and is renumerated in accordance with local standards and the Consulate General's salary scheme.
